I qualified as a registered nurse in 1994 and have wide experience in the UK and overseas. I became interested in Chinese Medicine during time spent in China and decided to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and graduated in August 2005. First step
For the first appointment with new clients a full history will be taken and I will look at the tongue and feel the pulse. This first step may be more intensive than people are used to as Chinese medicine has different theories on causes of disease and illnesss.

What might not seem important may be the very cause of the problem. The first visit will be approximately an hour.

Subsequent Treatments
Sessions will thereafter last approximately 45 minutes as the needles are in place for half an hour.

Generally, the more chronic a persons illness is the longer it will take to treat. This will be reviewed continually and more treatments than are necessary will not be given.
